Must-Do in NYC
I am a big proponent of Free Walking Tours in a new city, as they give you a depth of knowledge you wouldn't find elsewhere and many tips/tricks for your stay. The free tourstend to be of much higher quality than the traditional large group, pre-pay tours. NYC was no different. Jordan W. was our guide and from the very beginning he pulled us in with his detailed story-telling, which brought the tour to life. The 2-3 hour tour felt like 20 minutes because we were so interested in what he was saying. I cannot say enough positive things about Jordan and this tour company in NYC. It's a must-do!! :)
We have had a great time during the walking tour in Financial District. A lot to know about the history of NYC. Very interesting a funny! I really recommend taking this free tour to enjoy a little more this part of NYC. We thanks to our guide Caetano, who knows a lot of things, was very funny and make us have a wonderful time.
Jordan did a great job. Although I am a native New Yorker who goes into Manhattan many time a year we never fully explored lower Manhattan. The area and the tour were fascinating. It was well paced with a 10 minute break 2/3s through. We saw a lot and learned a lot . A perfect combination. Highly recommended
We took free lower Manhattan walking tour. It was a great tour. Our tour guide Zev was amazing, he made this tour very interesting, filled with lots of information and great stories. Zev is such great story teller and so enthusiastic that our two boys never said that they are tired or bored.
Zev clearly loves New York City where he was raised... his enthusiasm for its history, architecture and residents is obvious in his tours. I learned more about lower manhattan on Zev's tour than I knew from living in the area for years. Great tour.
Super good (free) tour hosted by Zev who was totally professional; knowledgeable and friendly. Tour commenced near Battery Park and went through Wall Street and Broadway to the 9/11 Memorial site. You simply tip whatever you think the tour is worth! And don't be mean!!
