Yariv

A second-generation Israeli, Yariv had an early appreciation for the country’s history, growing up hearing the tales of his pioneer-farmer grandparents and passing the ruins of a Byzantine church on his daily walks to school. Discovering Israel’s diverse cultures, wildlife, and archeology was a constant hobby while he was growing up.

Following his service at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C., Yariv earned a M.S. in Computer Science at University of Maryland. After working for NIH, University of Maryland, and Purdue University, Yariv returned to Israel with his American wife and daughters. Yariv enjoyed showing them fascinating and fun places in his homeland.

Following his passion, Yariv studied to become an Official Tour Guide. Now he can show you meaningful places in Israel and share the intriguing stories that make them so special.
