Robert

Rob grew up in Salford in the north of England, but has now spent several years living in the south, giving him an accent that doesn’t really come from anywhere. He started playing the violin at the age of 4, a decision that he didn’t have much say in at the time, but he’s very glad about it now. He studied Music at the University of Cambridge, and after graduating he moved to London in the pursuit of a media career… at pretty much the exact same time the BBC moved to his home town of Salford. Awkward.

Rob quickly fell in love with London, its culture and its history, and now takes great delight in sharing these things with new people. When he’s not tour guiding he’s also an actor, writer, comedian, musician, improviser and massive nerd.
