Alex

Born in Limerick, Ireland, Alex quickly moved to Asturias at the ripe age of 3 years old. Spending seven years surrounded by such tasty food and varying countryside made sure that his love affair with Spain could begin. Back in Ireland, his English Literature and Spanish Language degree brought him to Madrid for the first time and he quickly fell in love with the city's boundless energy.

Alex loves to talk. And he's pretty good at it too. Back at home, his folks would say “he'd talk the ear off you”. Luckily enough, Madrid is one of his favorite topics. Whether it's a debate over which is hipper, Lavapies or Malasaña; or where is the nicest place for a siesta in the Retiro, Alex can chat away til tomorrow. Also ask him about running routes or his favorite craft beer bars - research which he's more than happy to share with you!
