ABOUT DANI

Dani moved to Madrid from his native La Mancha to study International Relations and History. After trying life in a couple of continents, he came back to Madrid and started tour guiding, the best way to get to know the city that made him who he is.

History is his passion, but also his excuse to talk about everything else. He will try to convince you that the wonders of Madrid are sometimes to be found in its dirtiest corners.

Madrid is not only a city of kings, also a city of peasants, and a caña with a tapa in under the sun in La Latina or a night concert in Café Berlin are just as important in this city as admiring Velázquez in his home at El Prado.

You can expect to hear plenty of history in my tour, but I prefer you to understand the general process rather than hearing every tiny detail

There will be plenty of current politics, cause that’s my passion and what constitutes a good part of my background
