Jan Thomas was born in the West of Germany and lives in Berlin since many years. His family is originally from a town just outside Berlin but fled from the socialist regime before the wall was built. Until today he is fascinated by Berlin’s extraordinary history which is so deeply connected with his own family history. Apart from the Berlin’s rich history, he loves the city’s dynamic and diversity in particular in his own suburb Kreuzberg.
