Originally from Surrey, England, Rob studied at universities in Britain and the USA before moving to London. Having been in various rock and folk bands and worked as a landscape gardener, his head was turned by the German capital. After a chance visit in 2007 he kept returning, each time asking himself if he should move here. Anyone who has visited Berlin will understand.
