The bright lights of New York City
The flashing billboards and honking yellow taxis of Times Square come to life in this Midtown walking tour of so many of New York’s iconic sites. You’ll take in the famous 42nd Street, as well as finding little bits of refuge from the bustling action with Bryant Park, and even learning about some of the famous speakeasies in 1920s prohibition-era New York.
The sites from the guide books, movies and TV
Whether you’re a fan of pop culture classics like Sex and the City or Gossip Girl, or you’re more of a traditionalist with Breakfast at Tiffany’s or King Kong, the New York Midtown walking tour will bring you many of the sites you’ve seen countless times in film and guide books. Sit on the steps of the New York Public Library, take in the stunning Grand Central terminal, and stroll along Fifth Avenue for the classic New York experience.
The famous skyscrapers of New York
You will likely have already seen New York’s newest skyscraper, the One World Trade building, on our Downtown FREE walking tour, but as you head up to Midtown, you’ll discover even more of New York’s tallest and most famous buildings. You’ll see the Chrysler Building, which was the tallest building in the world when built in 1930, before it was usurped by the Empire State Building when that was built in 1931.
