Free Tour of Paris
Book the original Paris Free Walking tour and visit many of the city's highlights with a local guide
Paris may be known as the City of Lights, but it has a dark and mysterious past.
Behind the romantic facade are tales of tortures, imprisonments, beheadings and murders. As we walk through the darkened streets and narrow alleyways, you'll learn of the murderous medieval barber who inspired Sweeney Todd, as well as the experiments of alchemist Nicolas Flamel and his search for immortality through the Philosopher's Stone, depicted by J.K. Rowling in Harry Potter.
On this 2-hour tour, you'll also see Paris' first psychiatric hospital and hear the tales that surround it, as well as learning the real story of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and discovering how the Paris morgue became the epicentre of the city's social scene in the 19th century.
We'll bring to light the dark history of the city’s horrific past – this is Paris as you've never seen it before!
